The idea
Skip centralized stables for dapps.
USDT/USDC are cash in a company. Fine for a listed dollar. Bad as the only way a Kaspa app can run. PegLab explores a Kaspa-native unit: lock tKAS, issue tPEG, redeem under a spend rule. The dapp talks to Kaspa, not to an issuer.
This lab is cheap on purpose (tiny pool, one admin price). That is why a dollar peg fails here. The takeaway is not “ship this as money.” It is “dapps can settle on Kaspa rules; a fake $1 is not the product.”
